Welcome to my new (and first) blog. I adopted a 2 yr old cairn just 3 days ago. Our journey to together has been exciting and filled with adventure. She is the mom of the cairn puppy, Cobie, that my son and his girlfriend adopted in January. I had been wanting to get a dog for some time and after hours and hours of research to determine what type of dog I should adopt, I was convinced that a cairn would be the best overall choice. In addition, I could not stand to see Cobie's mom in the shelter despite the fact that I believe that she was well taken care of there. She is the sweetest dog and very well-behaved. My challenge right now is to help my cat get over her fear of Letty and become more comfortable in what has always been her territory.
